PITTSBURGH - Four voting rights groups asked a federal court today to allow them to intervene to defend the rights of Allegheny County voters in a lawsuit filed by an organization challenging how the county maintains its voter registration list.

State Court Postpones Certification of Vote on Marsy’s Law Ballot Question
HARRISBURG – The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania today issued an order to postpone the tabulation and certification of the vote tally of the Marsy’s Law ballot question until a court challenge is resolved.

Pennsylvania Good Government Group and a Voter File Lawsuit to Block “Logrolled” Constitutional Amendment
HARRISBURG - The American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania and the law firm Dechert LLP filed a state lawsuit today arguing that the pending Marsy’s Law ballot question is unconstitutional because it combines many changes into a single amendment.
