Senate Bill 133 repeals Act 38 of 2012, which prohibits Pennsylvania from participating in the federal Real ID Act of 2005. It also creates a two-ID system to allow consumers to choose a driver's license or non-driving identification card that is not compliant with Real ID. The bill was signed by Governor Wolf on May 26, 2017 as Act 3 of 2017 - Pennsylvania REAL ID Compliance Act.
