As the ACLU of Pennsylvania continues working to decriminalize sex work, we want to take a moment to acknowledge International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers.

The ACLU of Pennsylvania categorically condemns threats of violence, as well as bigotry directed at any group. We also stand, as we always have, on the side of free and unfettered political speech, even when that speech seems intolerable to some.

A few months ago, we introduced you to Andrew Burgess, who has been teaching for 16 years in the Central Bucks School District. He finds teaching to be a joyful experience and takes tremendous satisfaction when his “students find inspiration, find their voice, and begin to take ownership and pride in their work.”
