HR 165 (PN 1221) is a proposed resolution to study pretrial detention practices and detainee populations in the Commonwealth. A lack of data and transparency related to pretrial detainee populations is a significant problem in Pennsylvania. Having any data to better understand the issue can only help us as we advocate for reform, especially in the area of cash bail.
