HB 1399 | Requiring law enforcement to wear visible ID at all times

HB 1399 (PN 1567) would require all Pennsylvania law enforcement officers to have their badge, with all pertinent identifiable information, visible at all times without exception.

Having a badge in clear view, regardless of whether an officer is in uniform or not, would not only ensure that people know when law enforcement is present, but are able to identify officers if and when they engage in unethical or illegal behavior.
