Cumberland County Law Enforcement Seizes Property from Pennsylvanians and Keeps It for Internal Use – Including Gaming Consoles

On December 14, 2015, the ACLU of Pennsylvania released a report analyzing civil asset forfeiture practices in Cumberland County that showed law enforcement has kept large amounts of forfeited equipment–even three gaming systems and four video games–for its own internal use, on the grounds that the property purportedly aids drug enforcement efforts.
