Join the ACLU of Pennsylvania for a celebration of liberty and justice for all, an affirmation of our commitment to civil rights in uncertain times, and – not least of all – an excellent party. This will be our third annual “Show the Constitution Some Love: A Night Out with the ACLU of Pennsylvania.”

WHEN: February 15, 2019, 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street, Philadelphia

PROGRAM:

We are privileged that Shane Bauer, author of American Prison: A Reporter's Undercover Journey into the Business of Punishment, recipient of the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Journalism and the Michael Kelly Award (sponsored by the Atlantic Media Company) for "the fearless pursuit and expression of truth,” will serve as keynote speaker. In addition, performances by The Babel Poetry Collective and Philly’s poet-laureate Wes Matthews will take place during the evening.

Enjoy drinks and heavy hors-d'oeuvres throughout the night while getting to know ACLU-PA staff, board members, and other supporters.
