• Young Friends Night at the Arden Theatre Company for What the Constitution Means to Me - 11/16 @ 5:30 PM:

The Arden’s Young Friends series is designed for audience members 40 and under, and includes a pre-show networking event to bring together young professionals who have a passion for theatre, arts, and Philadelphia’s cultural community. Join us on November 16!

There will be a social hour at 5:30 PM with complimentary food and drinks at Cuba Libre, followed by the show at 7:00 PM.

Join the ACLU-PA board and staff for a social night and viewing of Heidi Schreck's What the Constitution Means to Me at The Arden Theatre on December 2.

• Panel at the Arden Theatre: What the Constitution Means to Me - 11/11 @ 4:30 PM (COMPLETED):

ACLU-PA is partnering with Arden Theatre Company and WHYY for a panel discussion with leading experts on women's rights, immigration, and the U.S. Constitution. Jamila Bey, editorial director of WHYY, will be moderating.

Saturday, November 11, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Speakers on this panel include:

• Anjelica Hendricks, board president of ACLU-PA's Philadelphia Chapter.
• Professor Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, Emmy Award-winning writer, educator, and activist.
• Kathryn Kolbert, reproductive rights attorney.
• Former Congresswoman and Pennsylvania Senator Allyson Schwartz.

Registration is free but space is limited. After the panel, you can purchase a ticket for a future showing of Heidi Schreck's Tony-nominated What the Constitution Means to Me. The play examines the American experience through Schreck's perspective and the amendments that make up the Constitution.
