ACLU-PA Sues Bucks Co. Sheriff Over Illegal ICE Agreement
ACLU-PA and the Community Justice Project sued Bucks County Sheriff Fred Harran after the sheriff entered into an agreement to cooperate with ICE without authorization from the Bucks County Board of Commissioners.
More than 20 years ago, Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth Court ruled that it was unconstitutional to prohibit people who are living with a criminal record from voting. But misinformation about those rights persists here in Pennsylvania.
