Known as “Deana’s Law,” HB 916 PN 4618 (amended with language from SB 773 PN 2104) mandates surveillance of people before they have been convicted of a crime, punishes people who are too poor to pay monitoring costs, imposes mandatory consecutive sentences, and further expands penalties for DUI-related offenses.
