HB 2050 | Abortion ban following fetal diagnosis

House Bill 2050 amends the Pennsylvania crimes code to prohibit terminating a pregnancy based solely on a “prenatal diagnosis of, or belief that the unborn child has, Down syndrome.” Any violation of this provision would constitute a third-degree felony.
