With 96,000 people behind bars, Pennsylvania has the highest incarceration rate in the Northeast. When factoring in people who are on probation or parole, Pennsylvania has the second-highest rate of people under correctional control in the country.

It’s far past time to reform our criminal legal system and challenge the racism that keeps it from being just.

Join us for the ACLU of PA Central Susquehanna Chapter 2020 Annual Awards Dinner featuring Nyssa Taylor, ACLU-PA Criminal Justice Policy Council as the keynote speaker. The topic of the night will be "Tackling Mass Incarceration in PA: An overview of how the ACLU-PA’s Campaign for Smart Justice is addressing the mass incarceration crisis."

Amy Moyer, Dr. Walter Brasch Journalism Award
Mark Reisinger, Mark McCullough, Jr. Religious Liberty Award
Susan Jordan, Keri Albright Community Catalyst

This event is open to the public. Reservations are required and must be submitted by March 14. No walk-ins will be accepted at the door. Dinners are $25.00 (includes taxes and gratuity).
