The Philadelphia Bail Fund works to put itself out of business by ending the use of cash bail and pretrial punishment. Malik Neal, co-founder and director of the Philadelphia Bail Fund, explains the organization's work, how it supports people who are detained pretrial and their families, and the lessons he's learned about the criminal legal system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
