The ACLU of Pennsylvania often provides speakers for educational events, panels, conferences, and school programs. We have an active speakers' bureau consisting of attorneys, community leaders, ACLU-PA staff, and board members who are well versed in a variety of civil liberties topics, including (but not limited to):

  • Bill of Rights
  • Free speech
  • Immigrants' rights
  • LGBT rights
  • Police practices
  • Religious liberty
  • Reproductive freedom
  • Privacy & security
  • Student & youth rights
  • Voting rights

In arranging for a speaker, it is helpful to call or email at least six weeks in advance to ensure that we can find you a speaker. We do not charge for speakers, although honoraria or reimbursement for traveling expenses are gratefully accepted.
