Evaluate your contacts and personally recruit people & organizations to attend June 18^th event and to participate in activities listed below. (We'll provide talking points and other information.)

Write to your elected representatives (particularly Senator Arlen Specter) about:

• Hearings on PATRIOT Act sunsets being held in private
• Allowing provisions in PATRIOT Act to sunset
• Supporting SAFE Act

Many have experienced the impact of the PATRIOT Act. We are reaching out, not only to conservative and gun groups, but to a wide range of sectors who are effected by PATRIOT. This includes (but is not limited to): librarians, medical professionals, immigrant advocacy groups, financial professionals, organized labor, peace and justice groups, the Arab and Muslim communities, the Irish community and a wide range of faith-based organizations. We also want to welcome those involved with the passing of anti-PATRIOT Act resolutions in municipalities across the state.
