The ACLU of PA is currently in need of volunteers in the Philadelphia area who would be willing and able to spend a few hours a month phone banking or tabling.
Phone banking: We are looking for people who are available on an as-needed basis to help contact our members about upcoming events and action alerts (usually about a piece of legislation in the state legislature). You will never be soliciting members for money! You will also only be calling current ACLU members who have given us their phone numbers. We need people who are available during the day or on Tuesday evenings.
Tabling: Festivals, fairs and other community events abound during the summer months. We are looking for individuals to staff information tables/booths at events in the greater Philadelphia area, usually on weekends. (Signing up as an on-call tabling volunteer does not commit you to working a particular weekend.)
Training will be provided!
