Summer Law Student Internships

The summer is an exciting time to intern at the ACLU of Pennsylvania in one of our three offices (Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Philadelphia).  With more time to commit, interns are able to experience the daily activity at the ACLU of Pennsylvania.

Tasks undertaken by summer interns include, but are not limited to, legal research, drafting memos, and cite checking.  Summer interns may also be asked to perform research regarding the civil liberties implications or impact of proposed or new legislation, or to assist with updating public education materials to reflect changes in the law.  Legal interns attend court proceedings, sit in on case development meetings, and meet leaders in the public interest community.

The ACLU of Pennsylvania offers a wonderful opportunity for law students to delve into an exciting and challenging summer.  Interested students should send a cover letter, resume, writing sample and transcript by email to info@aclupa.org

Please apply early as these openings fill quickly.
