Bloomsburg Outdoor Gatherings Ordinance

Valerie Burch (ACLU-PA)

On March 19, 2010, the ACLU-PA sent a letter notifiying the Bloomsburg town council that its proposed social gathering ordinance was unconstitutional.  On March 22, 2010, the Bloomsburg town council passed a revised ordinance that still requires a permit for Bloomsburg students hosting social gatherings at which alcohol will be served with 150 or more guests on private property.
