Voter ID Law

let me vote logo:

The voter ID law will not be in effect for in-person voting for the May 21, 2013, primary. Voters without photo ID will still be allowed to cast their ballots. If you are told you cannot vote without photo ID, contact the Election Protection hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE.

Voter ID Lawsuit

In May 2012 the ACLU of Pennsylvania, the Advancement Project, the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia (PILCOP), and the Washington, DC law firm of Arnold & Porter LLP filed a lawsuit in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania to overturn the voter ID law. A preliminary injunction was granted in October of 2012 that halted the law from going into effect for the November election. The injunction was extended to cover the May 21, 2013, primary.
