The ACLU of Pennsylvania invites you to join us on February 9 for a performance of "The Scottsboro Boys," the award-winning musical about the infamous 1930's 'Scottsboro Case' in which a group of African-American teens are falsely accused of a terrible crime, ultimately provoking a national outrage that sparked the American Civil Rights movement.
Immediately after the show, there will be a reception featuring members of the cast, a talk by ACLU of PA Executive Director Reggie Shuford, and special guests. Dessert, wine and beer, and soft drinks will be served.

When: Thursday, February 9, 2012. Show starts at 8:00 p.m., reception at 9:45 p.m.

Tickets for the musical must be purchased through the Philadelphia Theater Company's website. PTC is generously providing $10 off the ticket price of any performance of "The Scottsboro Boys" to ACLU supporters. To get the discount, enter promo code "ACLU-10." The discount is good for any show, excluding opening night, during its run from January 20 - February 19.
