WHEN: Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 11am-3pm WHERE: North Office Building, Hearing Room 1 in Harrisburg, PA WomenVote PA and the National Council of Jewish Women-PA have organized a brief training sessions on how to lobby your legislator as well as informational sessions about numerous pieces of legislation affecting women in Pennsylvania including: - Victims' Rights: Compassionate Assistance for Rape Emergencies (CARE Act)
- Preventing Insurance Discrimination Against Victims of Domestic Violence
- Fairness in Prescription Drug Coverage or Contraceptive Equity
- Ending Pharmacist Refusal to Provide Birth Control
- Gender Equity in Athletics
- Opposing the Constitutional Amendment Banning Same-Sex Marriage
